They are no ordinary watch, they can connect to your phone, and display your notification. Some of them, only display message or call alert (Cookoo). While some are able to display message or ID of the person calling (but none can reply message yet ). Apart from that, can be use to control music and finally display time ;P.

Pebble ?

Pebble is a small company which was funded by public backers in Kickstarter .

Pebble is the first watch built for the 21st century. It's infinitely customizable, with beautiful downloadable watchfaces and useful internet-connected apps. Pebble connects to iPhone and Android smartphones using Bluetooth, alerting you with a silent vibration to incoming calls, emails and messages. While designing Pebble, we strove to create a minimalist yet fashionable product that seamlessly blends into everyday life.

Why Pebble?

It uses e-paper, where it will always shows the watch face , unlike other smart watch, which the screen will turn off when idle. Unfortunately, only in black and white, however, it have the best battery time . They claimed it will last for 7 days depending on activity.

Custom watchface : You can download/create/use any watchface you want. These 2 are my favourite so far.

They can alert you by vibration! Sometime, i cant feel my phone vibration especially when walking.
